Portland, Oregon – The community is stepping up to help the family of two sisters who were killed in a car crash in North Portland. Ana and Kaylee Moreno-Hernandez were in a car that crashed head-on into an SUV on Greeley Avenue last week. At “Dub’s at Marie’s, an eatery in North Portland, a fundraiser is being held today from 5 to 10 PM. Dub’s owner William Travis III tells KGW the plan is to have a special fried chicken meal on the menu with all of the proceeds going to the teen’s family. A GO-FUND-ME has also been set up to help pay for funeral expenses.
A service for the sisters will be held today at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
