Frost Advisory Issued For Portland Metro Area

Portland, Ore. – The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Frost Advisory for our area until 8am Thursday. KXL’s Jacob Dean talked with them about it.

FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM
PDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 31 will result in frost
  formation.

* WHERE...Coldest temperatures will be in wind-protected valleys.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if
  left uncovered.
