Free Sandwiches Today!
Subway is giving away a million sandwiches today. The event is from 10am to Noon across the country. Subway is celebrating a line of new sandwiches they’ve developed.
If you miss the two hour window to get a free one, we asked KXL listeners for their favorite sandwich spots. Some of the mentions include Northeast Portland’s Taste Tickler, The Meatery in Hillsboro, Otto’s Sausage Kitchen on Woodstock in Portland, Bunk Sandwiches, which has several locations, and Parkstone Wood Kitchen & Taps. KGW’s Rod Hill even chimed in with his favorite: Goose Hollow, Jersey Mike’s, and Subway.
If you don’t like to eat a lot of meat, or never eat it, a couple of really great sandwich places: The Paradox Cafe on Belmont, Buddy’s Steaks at the Parkrose Food Carts, Ben & Esther’s on Sandy Blvd., and The Wagon in Multnomah Village.
