Former Secretary of State, Norma Paulus, Dead at 85

PORTLAND, Ore. – Former Oregon Secretary of State Norma Paulus has died at the age of 85.
She was a pioneering Republican, becoming the first woman elected to statewide office in Oregon. She also ran for Governor in 1986, but lost the race.
Her death comes just days after Secretary of State Dennis Richardson died of brain cancer.
