Forklift Hits Street Sign On West Burnside

PORTLAND, Ore. — A forklift hit the street sign on West Burnside at 4th Avenue before 8:30 on Tuesday morning.

Traffic was blocked eastbound between 6th and 4th Avenues as of 10:00am.

The closure forced drivers to detour on downtown streets to get through the area.

There’s no word who was operating the forklift at the time.
