Food Spoiled and Getting SNAP Benefits? The State Of Oregon Will Replace It.

PORTLAND, Ore. — If your food spoiled from the power being out during the storm, and you get SNAP benefits from the State of Oregon, they will replace it.

However, you must apply within 10 days of your food spoiling.  More information is available here.

Replacement benefits are based on the value of the food that was destroyed.
