Flying Goats


They like the way you smell—–and they aren’t scared of you. That’s why Olympic Park Rangers and vets are moving hundreds more Mountain Goats out of the Park via helicopter. They started this operation last fall and are picking it up this week.  In all,  they want to move 700 goats from the park to a more remote part of the north Cascades.  We asked Penny Wagner with the Olympic National Forest….about the challenges of an operation like this.  Here’s what she had to say.
