First Federal Mass Vaccination Site Coming To Oregon

SALEM, Ore. – The first federal mass vaccination site is coming to Oregon.

Governor Kate Brown announced Monday that FEMA has selected the Expo in Central Point for the Pilot Community Vaccination Center.

Starting on April 21st and lasting for 8 weeks, about 1,000 doses per day will be administered to residents of Jackson, Klamath, and Josephine Counties.

I'm excited to welcome @fema's Pilot Community Vaccination Center to Jackson County. As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Oregon, including Jackson County, one of our best tools to stop the rapid spread of COVID-19 variants is to quickly get vaccines into arms.
