Finding the Perfect Pizza in the Northwest!

KXL Traffic guy Jeff Austin and his son Tyler have joined me on a quest to find the best pizza in Oregon.   It’s going to be a long journey, but someone has to do it, right?   We’ve been to a few places so far, and we started in SW Washington.    The standouts include:  Leonardo’s on SE 1st Street in Vancouver.  We had calzones instead of pizza, and they were really good!

Nonavo’s in downtown Vancouver is amazing!   The pizzas sound exotic, but they’re made with fresh, simple ingredients, and locally sourced as much as possible.

Owner Joey Chmiko is from the East Coast, but learned to cook pizza here on the West Coast and says they have different ways of making a pie.   You can hear more here:

Many of the staff in the KXL newsroom joined Jeff, Tyler, and me at the Crust Collective on Vancouver’s Waterfront.  We LOVED it.   There was a big table of us, and we ordered several pizzas to share.  Every single one was delicious!    Definitely worth the drive over the bridge from Portland for.

We are going to check out pizzas all around the Portland Metro area.   If you have a suggestion, chime in on our Facebook page, or call our KXL Listener Line 503-517-6101.
