FBI Reports Bomb Threat Scam Hitting Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. – The FBI reports a bomb threat scam is making the rounds in Oregon.

Several businesses across the state say they’ve received a message that claims a bomb has been planted and that if someone calls police, it will go off.

The message also demands anywhere from $5,000 to $20,000.

The FBI says if you receive the threat, do not pay the ransom. Contact them instead.
