Family Tragedy In Sandy

Sandy, Or. – An elderly woman died in a house fire this morning, even though her son and grandson tried to save her. The Sandy Fire Chief says the son suffered severe burns and has been taken to Legacy Emmanuel’s burn unit. The grandson, who lives in a trailer on the property, grabbed a chain saw and tried to cut an opening into the house to rescue her. He was not injured.
