Family Of Mousketeer Dennis Day Thanks OSP
Phoenix, Or. – The family of original Mouseketeer, Dennis Day has issued a statement thanking Oregon State Police for making an arrest in his case. OSP arrested Day’s handyman on Friday. 36 year old Daniel James Burda has been charged with manslaughter, abuse of a corpse and identity theft.
Here is the family’s statement:
The family of our beloved Dennis Day would like to thank the Oregon State Police, assisted by Jackson County Sherriff, for the thorough investigation of Dennis’ death and bringing charges, along with the DA, in an attempt to bring those involved to justice. We are grateful and appreciate that this case was finally taken seriously after we endured several months of aggravation trying to get it thoroughly investigated. Of course, it won’t make up for our grief but will hopefully prevent this from happening to another family. We would also like to thank the media for the coverage in keeping this case in the public eye. We truly appreciate the love, support and stories from all of Dennis & Ernie’s friends. Forever in our hearts Uncle & Brother Dennis. #justicefordennis
