One of the great Motown acts of all time. The Commodores brand is bigger than ever as this mind- blowing assembly of talent continues to blaze trails all over the world. Their credits put the Commodores in rarified air: 70-million albums sold, seven #1 hits, five #1 albums, and of course, The Grammy. Add to that, they were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
Their Motown and R&B Funk sound has resulted in a string of hits their fans know all too well: Brick House, Three Times A Lady, Night Shift and Easy are just the tip of the musical iceberg.
Leading the band are Walter “Clyde” Orange, James Dean “JD” Nicholas, and William “WAK” King—collectively a key influencer of artists young and old in all genres with their classic songs. Their show at the 2019 Oregon State Fair will be a non-stop stream of greatest hits, and the amphitheater will be bouncing with energy. And smiles. And memories…
