15th Annual Plant Nerd Night

Welcome to our 15th Annual KXL Plant Nerd Night. Never did I ever dream that Plant Nerd Night would have such a long and prosperous life. To me, the event heralds the beginning of spring, and the energy created when 500+ gardeners are in one room is unbelievable.
Plant Nerd Night gives us all an opportunity to meet and talk with other gardeners, learn about new plants, reconnect with old favorites, (people & plants), and have an enjoyable evening.
With any event of this size, there are many people to thank. Most important is you, the listener, and without your support and that of our sponsors, I would have no radio show and there would be no Plant Nerd Night. Also, I would be remiss for not thanking KXL for their continuing support of my radio show which is beginning its’ 35rd year! Thanks also to the many volunteers that help each year, and a big thanks to the promotions department at KXL which pieces it all together to make it happen.
I always smile when I hear someone talking about Plant Nerd Night and they are trying to explain it to someone that has never been. The conversation usually goes like; “I really can’t explain it, you just have to be there”.
