TURNER, Ore. — Owners of the Enchanted Forest say they won’t meet their $4 Million budget this year because of COVID-19. In order to get through the winter, Susan Vaslev, daughter of founder Roger Tofte, has started a GoFundMe page with the goal of raising $500,000.
Paintings, signs and other items will be auctioned off.
The 20-acre park south of Salem in Turner opened in 1961. Susan’s dad is 90-years-old and still works on the grounds almost every day.
