Elderly Salem Man Missing for Nearly Two Weeks

Salem, OR. — Family members contacted Marion County Deputies Sunday about their missing 74-year-old father. Axel Johnson was last seen at his Salem apartment on June 4th by the apartment manager. Johnson told the manager he was leaving to move in with his daughter. Family members told authorities Johnson doesn’t stay in regular contact with them. They say it’s highly unusual for him to be gone this long. Johnson is white, 5-foot-3, 155 pounds, blonde hair with gray streaks, blue eyes and usually clean shaven. He left his apartment in his green 1997 Ford Ranger with an extended cab. Oregon license plate 365JLW.
