Lake County, Or. – An elderly man and his two dogs were stranded for four days in a remote canyon in Lake County before  being found by a cyclist. Oregon State Police say the man had collapsed by the time he was discovered. One dog was still by his side. The other had gone back to the man’s jeep and was spotted by an OSP airplane two days later.

OSP says the man was taken to the hospital for treatment and is now back home with his two dogs recovering from the ordeal. The man’s name has not been released. The name of the cyclist who rescued him has also not been released.
