Deputy Shoots & Kills Suspect In Happy Valley

HAPPY VALLEY, Ore. — A suspect was shot and killed by a Clackamas County Sheriff’s deputy early Monday morning.
Deputies were attempting to arrest the suspect after a traffic stop near Southeast 145th and King Road around 2:00 when a struggle began. They say a handgun was found near the suspect.
The suspect and deputies involved have not been identified.
The Clackamas County Major Crimes Team and District Attorney’s Office is investigating the shooting.
