Death Investigation Underway In Kelso After Man’s Body Discovered

KELSO, Wash. — The body of a man was found in a wooded area of Kelso on Thursday afternoon.
The body of Matthew Pettit, 46, was found on North 1st Avenue near Crawford Street around 2:00pm.
There were injuries to his body, but the cause of death has not yet been released to preserve the integrity of the investigation.
