Danger Advisories At Three Clark County Lakes Downgraded

VANCOUCVER, Wash. – Clark County has downgraded the public health advisories at Vancouver Lake, Lacamas Lake, and Round Lake.

The DANGER advisories at all three lakes are now just WARNINGS.

Blue-green algae is still in the water, but toxin levels are now safer.

Health officials are recommending:

  • No swimming or water skiing.
  • No water contact for animals.
  • Avoiding areas of scum when using motorized boats, paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing.
  • No drinking lake water.
  • Cleaning fish well and discarding organs
