Police say 43-year-old Joseph Ely was driving a refrigerated truck for Columbia Empire Meat Company Friday, when he lost control on a curve and crashed into the pole.

Electrical lines fell on the truck, trapping Ely inside. ¬†Fire crews weren’t able to get Ely out until PGE got there to cut the lines.

Ely walked away from the crash with minor injuries.
