Traffic alert for anyone using I-84 in the Gorge between Troutdale and Bridal Veil. All lanes of I-84 are shutdown in both directions because of a crash, about one mile east of Corbett. Eastbound traffic is being stopped at Exit 17 in Troutdale according to a KXL listener Kelly who called the newsroom. The crash happened just after 2:30am Tuesday morning. According to a KXL caller, they say it’s two semi trucks that hit head on, but that is not confirmed yet by law enforcement. It’s unclear when the crash will be cleared and the freeway reopened. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
KXL’s Rosemary Reynolds is at the Troutdale truck stop talking to a lot of frustrated drivers trying to get back to work.
