Couple Found Dead On Highway 26 Near Banks In Murder-Suicide

BANKS, Ore. — A couple from Beaverton was found dead inside a vehicle on Highway 26 near Banks early Wednesday morning.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled up behind the car that was parked along the westbound side of the highway near NW Mountaindale Road around 3:30.

Investigators say 46-year-old Alejandro Gomez-Blanco shot and killed his wife, 44-year-old Yolanda Constantino, before turning the gun on himself.  A handgun was recovered inside the car.
