VANCOUVER, Wash. — Vancouver Police Officer Donald Sahota was laid to rest on Tuesday.  He was shot and killed by a Clark County Sheriff’s deputy at his home a week and a half ago during a struggle with a robbery suspect.

A procession carried Officer Sahota’s body from Vancouver to Ridgefield.  Hundreds of police and fire vehicles took part.  People showed their support from freeway overpasses along the procession route.  The procession joined the officer’s motorcade for an honorary flyover.
