Coffee and Conversation in NE Portland

There’s a fairly new coffee shop in Northeast Portland where people hang out, chat, read the paper, and enjoy a good cup of brew.   Good customer service is the motto of Autumn Coffee Roasters.  Owner Andrew Hume loves to chat with people and feels bad when he has to cut the conversation short and dash off into the kitchen.    We talked to Hume about the competitiveness of the coffee business, the ice storm’s impact, and how he came up with the name Autumn.  You can hear that here:
