Close Call: OSP Trooper’s Patrol Car Hit By Sliding Vehicle

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — An Oregon State Trooper’s patrol car was hit by a vehicle in Southern Oregon that slid across Highway 199 in Grants Pass on Monday morning.

A lieutenant saw the vehicle sliding and was able to get out of the way.  He was helping other drivers involved in a “slide-off crash”.

Oregon State Police say drivers were going too fast for the conditions.

Luckily, nobody was injured.
