Clackamas County Confirms 10 Heat-Related Deaths

OREGON CITY, Ore. -The Clackamas County Medical Examiner’s Office Friday confirmed 10 heat-related deaths following last weekend’s record heat.

The six men and four women were between the ages of 55 and 79.

Most of the people had underlying medical conditions.

9 of the people who died were in their homes which had either no air-conditioning or air conditioners that were broken.

The 10th person was living in their car without air-conditioning.
