PORTLAND, Ore.  – The Portland Police Bureau is taking a $15 million dollar budget cut.

By a vote of 3-1 today, the Portland City Council made the move to slash the PPB 2020-2021 budget.

Commissioner Chloe Eudaly was the lone no vote.

The move will eliminate 84 positions.

Activists were asking for a $50 million dollar cut after the high profile death of George Floyd while in police custody.
