Chlorine shortage sparks water fears

A  power outage at the only Chlorine producer for drinking water on the west coast has the Oregon Office of Emergency Management alerting residents that drinking water shortages are possible but not likely.

Matt Marhein, Deputy Director at the Office of Emergency Management says they expect the plant to be back online soon.

While he says the drinking water is safe some areas like forest Grove only have about a two-week supply of Chlorine left.
