A Multnomah County employee wins a $100,000 lawsuit against the county over Blue Lives Matter.
Karimah Guion-Pledgure says she complained about a flag on the wall that has a blue stripe. That stripe is in support of police officers but Pledguer says it demeaned the Black Lives Matter movement.
She says when she complained about it, her colleagues harassed her, causing her extreme stress and health issues. As part of the agreement, Guion-Pledgure must resign but can reapply for a county job. She had worked for the department for eight years as a corrections technician.
What do you think? Was this a fair outcome?
