Beaverton Police Warn About Sexual Assault Suspect

A man who worked as a dancer at a local club is under investigation for sexual assault.   Beaverton Police warn it’s likely there are more victims.

Officers say they took a report about a sexual assault at an apartment in the Cedar Mill area last May.  The alleged victim reported meeting 32 year old Ali Muhammed Quraishi through his work as a dancer and dance manager at a Portland area club.  Beaverton Police determined there were additional alleged victims.

This week, a Washington grand jury indicted Quaraishi on 16 charges, related to the assaults of four victims.  Police arrested him Monday.   He’s in the Washington County Jail.  Detectives believe he was still working for the club, and that it’s likely there are more victims.  They’re asking people to come forward with information about any inappropriate interactions with him.   The contact is Detective Maggie Brown at 971.253.9690 and/or [email protected].
