SEATTLE, Wa.–A 5 and a half year old Seattle company is thriving. Greg Dale, owner came up with the idea of Artful Ashes after his father became very sick. His Dad recovered from the surgery but Greg was still thinking about some of the ways people chose to remember loved ones including sending ashes into space. He had friends who could create glass art and that’s exactly what he pursued. Now in a very respectful manner a relatives ashes are treated just as they would be at a funeral home.
One tablespoon of ashes is placed in each piece of beautiful artwork. Family members can be in attendance to watch the creation of their own special pieces of forever glass art. Dale says he’s seen families fell a lot better after making these memorials. Artful Ashes has over 850 thousand Facebook likes. The company makes 11 hundred pieces a month for families in the U.S. Canada and Australia and Europe. The average cost of most pieces is under $200. learn more at artfulashes.com
