Arrest Made In Lloyd District Homicide

PORTLAND, Ore. — A suspect accused of shooting and killing a man in the Lloyd District last month is behind bars.

38-year-old Jacob Dreyer of Vancouver was found dead in the parking garage at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Northeast 2nd and Holladay just after 7:00 on the night of February 26th.

28-year-old Lona-Akoni Hudson was arrested with the help of U.S. Marshals.  Hudson is charged with murder and unlawful use of a weapon.

There’s no word what led up to the shooting.

This is the city’s 18th homicide of the year.
