Multnomah County, Ore. – The ownership of a Portland landmark is at stake in a court fight today. This morning’s public hearing in Multnomah County Court is set to start at 9:00am. KXL’s Annette Newell reports the battle for the Alpenrose Dairy pits family member against family member:

For the second time this year, a sale of Portland’s Alpenrose Dairy is in the works. The family is split and a lawsuit to block the sale has been filed. A public hearing in Multnomah County court is happening this morning at 9. For decades, Alpenrose has been a community gathering center complete with baseball fields, cycling and racing tracks, a dairy-ville and an opera house. It’s home to the Little League Softball World Series. KXL’s Brett Reckamp talks with two people who want to keep Alpenrose going: Gary Rowell with Oregon District 4 Little League, and Jen Featheringill – Director of the Alpenrose Veledrome.
