Portland, Ore – The Oregon Humane Society is offering a $500 reward to find out who abused and abandoned a dog in Clackamas County. The Pomeranian was found in a filthy crate near a logging road near Goat Mountain. He was emaciated and half his fur was missing. The fur that was left was matted and soiled. The Humane Society named him Treasure and his condition has stabilized. If you know anything about Treasure or his owners the Oregon Humane Society would like to hear from you.

Treasure continues to receive care at the OHS Medical Center and is not available for adoption.

In Oregon, second degree animal neglect and abandonment are punishable by fines of up to $2,500 and six months in jail.
