45th Oregon Prisoner Dies After Testing Positive For COVID-19

SALEM, Ore. – A prisoner at Deer Ridge Correctional Institution has died after testing positive for COVID-19.

The Oregon Department of Corrections says it’s the 45th inmate to die after testing positive for the virus.

The inmate’s identity hasn’t been released, but he was between 60 and 70 years of age.
