Deputies Asking for Community’s Help in Finding Attempted Murder Suspect

Friday night police were called to NW Dogwood Street by people who said they saw a road rage incident then heard gunshots. Sheriff’s deputies found a woman who’d been shot in the chest. She told them 43 year old Glen Hornsby of Hillsboro tried to rob her, then shot her. The victim was able to get away in her vehicle, but Hornsby chased her and fired shots at her. Later that night deputies found his vehicle parked near a motorhome, but he wasn’t there.
