Uber And Green Cab Pairing Up In The Rose City

PORTLAND, Ore.–  Uber and Green Cab will provide more Wheelchair- Accessible vehicles in Portland.  It’s called the WAV program.  The merger gives riders the ability to pay for  and book through Uber app.  .  Green Cab Owner Tesfaye Aleme says, ” We’re excited to join forces with uber to expand opportunity for Green Cab drivers and build upon our shared commitment to offer more transportation choices for Portlanders, including riders with disabilities.”

Uber is working with Aleme on TAXI WAV .  This service can accommodate one passenger with a wheelchair, plus three others..  Uber TAXI will let up to four passengers book a cab through the Uber app.
