Health issues forced Ray and Sharon Sinclair to move from their ocean front home in Yachats. They've decided to run an essay contest to see who gets their beloved house.

For $200, a panel of judges will decide on your creativity.  "I tried to blend in the combination of why they want the house and living in Yachats.  As far as we're concerned, living in the house and living in Yachats are all in one, and we love Yachats."

Ray Sinclair says the home is worth $575,000 and they need 3,000 entries to make the contest work.

" We tell our guests who come from the big city, if that noise from the ocean out there, the waves hitting the rocks bother you, just pretend it's traffic.  It's just wonderful."
