RAINIER, Wash — Hundreds of sea lions took up residency on docks in Rainier, Washington, then took off. But, not everyone is unhappy. Locals in Rainier have had a great time watching the sea lions play on the public Marina dock.
300 to 500 of them have been putting on shows. On Friday however, there were only a few out and about.

They are considered a menace to many. The city of Rainier paid to put up fencing after the sea lions caused over 25 thousand dollars in damage to the dock. Some private boats here were also damaged.
