Portland Police Officer Arrested for DUI

PORTLAND, Ore. (KGW) – A Portland police officer was arrested for driving under the influence while he was off duty in Clark County, Wash., early Saturday morning.

Officer Rodney Gustafson, a 27-year-veteran of the police bureau, was arrested and given a citation for DUI.

Gustafson has been assigned to the bureau’s Telephone Report Unit, which police say is standard procedure, during the investigation into the incident.

Police did not release any additional information, citing the ongoing investigation. The findings will be presented to the Police Review Board.
