Rodney Harrison Excited for NFL Season
Former NFL safety and current NBC Sports analyst Rodney Harrison joined the BFT on Tuesday to talk about the upcoming NFL season. Harrison, who spent nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers and six with the New England Patriots, talked about his favorites to win the Super Bowl.
“Seattle or maybe San Francisco. I think you also have to look at the Denver Broncos. I think with Peyton Manning that gives them the ups.”
With the upcoming NFL season players will be separated from their families for long periods of time and Harrison reflected on how difficult it was to balance work life and home life.
“You’re working so long, so many hours you deal with a certain level of anxiety and always trying to perfect your profession. It’s tough because you’re moody, you’re up and down, and you have good days and bad days. You try to balance being a husband and being a dad and really not bring work home. ”
