McMinnville Housing Scammer Charged
Jerry Rosenstiel has been charged with nine counts of theft, and is accused of renting the same house to a dozen people. A house that wasn't even his to rent.
Rosenstiel's lawyer Ted Coran asked a judge in court Thursday to release Rosenstiel to the care of his daughter and waive his bail. Coran also says that Rosentiel is paying back all the victims, totaling $15,900.
Instead Rosenstiels bail was raised from $90,000 to $150,000.
Rosenstiels father maintains his son is innocent and says that more information will soon come to light proving his sons innocence.
A judge set a court hearing for Tuesday to determine Rosenstiels medical condition, after the 53-year old made claims that he only has weeks left to live. A fact that many dispute.
