Warren Moon talks Training Camp on the BFT
Hall of Fame Quarterback Warren Moon
joined John Canzano on The Bald-Faced Truth Tuesday afternoon to discuss training camp, the upcoming NFL season and how the officials will handle up-tempo offenses such as Chip Kelly’s Philadelphia Eagles.
“In the NFL you’re only going to be able to go so fast. Only as fast as the officials will let you play the game,” Moon said. “They’ll adjust a little bit but they’re not going to be running around any faster than normal just because they know you want the ball placed down faster.”
Moon played with the CFL’s Edmonton Eskimos for six seasons before signing with the NFL’s Houston Oilers in 1984.
Moon retired after the 2000 season, marking the end of a 17-year NFL career.
He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
