Body Found: Drowned Clackamas Victim
Clackamas County Dive Team recovered the body of 26-year old Meagan O'Meara-Clark.
The Canby woman jumped out of her raft around 4:00 p.m. Friday. She went under water and did not come up. The man she was with her made it back to shore to call for help.
Her body was pulled from the river at 4:15pm Sunday after a family member spotted her around 3:00pm.
Personnel from Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Gladstone Fire, Clackamas County Fire, Lake Oswego Fire and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue coordinated a rescue effort that turned into a recovery effort.
O'Meara-Clark was not wearing a life vest. The Clackamas County Sheriffs Office says drugs and alcohol was not a factor.
