Dr. Kinley Adams
The cause of death has been released for a climber whose body was recovered from Mount Hood this past weekend.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner's office found that Dr. Kinley Adams died from injuries in a fall.
It took about fifteen hours to bring his body off the mountain. He was found dead on a dangerous perch near the top of Sandy Glacier at the 8,400' level one week after he was supposed to return from a practice run.
Adams, 59, was a dentist by day and violinist by night. He was an experienced climber training for a mountaineering trip to Nepal.
