Goats Stolen from Battle Ground Family
A Battle Ground family is looking for answers after three of their four goats vanished last week. Jolene Scott says they went missing sometime last Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. After they couldn't be found, the family began to suspect this was the work of a thief, and not just a runaway goat situation. They've posted the following ad and pictures to Craigslist.com
in the hopes of getting their beloved goats back, especially since they were part of a 4-H project for the children:
"Stolen Boer and Boer
One full Boer red headed wether. He had a red spot on his back. 4 months old
and recently banded
One Boer/Nubian cross with a cream colored head and neck. 3 months old recently
One Boer/Nubian doeling white body with red colored hocks and red on her face.
5 months old
These are not of age to be butchered so someone will have to grow they out a
little. These are two 4-H girls goats. They bottle raised them."
