Jorgy first talked about the Ducks' biggest threat to win the Pac-12 this season.
“It’s got to be Stanford. I mean Stanford’s the defending champ. Until somebody knocks them off, they are the champ of the league. And they return 10 of 11 on defense, which that’s been the piece that has given Oregon trouble over the past two-three years.”
He also said that preseason is going to be a very important time for the Ducks.
“Those first three or four games I think are going to be so important for Mark and for the team to come out and really sort of lay it on some people and send the message to the league and to the rest of the schedule, ‘Here we go again’.”
And finally, he gave his pick as to who may be the team’s breakout star this season.
“Watch Byron Marshall. I think people don’t appreciate this guy enough – A tailback that’s a physical runner, has the speed to run away from you – Not like Kenjon Barner or LaMichael James, but still a physical runner that can beat you with his speed. And he loves to run your ass over – That’s what I like about Byron Marshall.”
