Jordan Keeps Focused Amid Trade Rumors
Los Angeles Clippers
center DeAndre Jordan
joined John Canzano on The Bald-Faced Truth Thursday afternoon to talk about his career with the Clippers, give his thoughts on the NBA Finals and the energy drink, Rockin’ Refuel
“You definitely want to be conscience about your body and how you take care of it especially after you put yourself through a tough workout, you want to be able to rebuild your muscles and basically just take care of your body after a workout when it’s breaking down.”
Jordan understands what athletes put inside their body is just as vital as the right gear on the outside. Not only is a good pre-game meal important to fuel the body, but an athlete's post-game recovery routine should also help replenish nutrients and rebuild muscle.
Jordan currently finds himself in the middle of trade talk rumors between the Clippers and Celtics. He has played for the Clippers his entire career since being drafted 35th overall in 2008.
“I’m not really worried about it right now, I’m not really focused on it, I’m just worried about getting better, working on my game this summer and just preparing for next season, wherever I will be.”
Jordan is familiar with Blazers GM Neil Olshey from Olshey’s time in LA and talked about what makes Portland an attractive destination for free agents.
“I think Portland is definitely attractive because of the young talent they have there. They obviously have LaMarcus who’s an all star, Damian Lillard who had an excellent rookie season.”
