What would you do in the event that America was hit by an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP)?
Right now, America is extremely susceptible to an EMP attack, and the effects could be devastating to the 300 million people who live in our country. The cost to bring the nation's power grid back online after an EMP could range somewhere between $60 billion and $2 trillion, and that's not counting the loss of life that would occur due to people living without power.
Today was an important day in Congress, where members of the house introduced the SHIELD Act, which has the power to give our nation the protection against the threat of an EMP.
